Details

Most trips in Rogers Pass start by meeting your IFMGA guide in Revelstoke before traveling to Rogers Pass. We recommend 2 days as a minimum for routes in Rogers Pass. This works well for routes like Tupper West Ridge (PD, 5.4), Mount Rogers, or the Swiss Peaks Traverse (AD-, 5.0).

3 days are recommended for routes like the Northwest Ridge of Mount Sir Donald (D-, 5.4) and the Sidewalk in the Sky, which is a traverse of the peaks that tower over the Asulkan Valley.

The climbs listed above mandate a guiding ratio of two guests to one guide. Sir Donald requires a 1:1 ratio. Glacier routes may allow for a higher number of guests per guide.
